How Many megs in the GEForce 2mx card, and is it AGP?
Given the specs, I think it's this model:
http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac_g4/stats/powermac_g4_733_qs.html
It's 32 MG and I'm not sure what AGP means. My info says it's NVDA, NVMac
When you open up the computer there are 5 expansion slots on the motherboard. Four of them are identical, they are PCI slots. The oddball one is an AGP slot. Is the video card plugged into a PCI or AGP slot?
"Custom configurations were available, standard configuration listed.
1. The PPC G4 includes the AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processor.
2. Boot ROM is around 1 MB, other instructions loaded in RAM (NewWorld).
3. 256k on-chip level 2 cache runs at processor speed (733 MHz).
4. Noninterleaved, 168-pin, 64-bit-wide 8ns PC133 SDRAM (3.3v).
5. A 32 MB NVIDIA GeForce2 MX Graphics card occupies an 4X AGP slot.
6. Ultra160 SCSI drives were also available.
7. Burn CD-R at 12X, burn CD-RW at 10X, read CD at 32X.
8. An optional internal Zip 250 drive is available.
9. Four full-length 64-bit, 33 MHz PCI slots.
A. 1 3.5" bay is external (w/o Zip) 2 3.5" free bays are internal (w/ 1 HD)."
Yes it's in the AGP slot.
How much for just the tower?
I had asked $500 but apparently most think that's too high. What's your offer?
The G4 has been sold - $280.
Thanks
