Title: Entourage Email Application
Post by: Macliker on November 19, 2006, 07:06:50 PM
Hi,

Microsoft Office 2004 comes with Entourage for handling email tasks and other things. It looks and works almost exactly like Outlook Express which is no longer supported for Mac by Microsoft.

Today I tried to notify all my email contacts of my change in email address, by copying the whole address book list of contacts and pasting that into the bcc address box of my message. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the way I did that but when I pressed Send I immediately received an error message informing me that the address box contained too many names. I then tried putting the same list into a group and sending to 'one' group of names, with the same result. Finally, I made several groups of thirty names each and that seemed to be acceptable.

Question: How many names at maximum am I allowed to address a single message to in Entourage? I didn't have the patience to play around and find out by trial and error.

Thanks,

Ron
