Title: speakers for Mac mini
Post by: m3m on November 19, 2006, 12:43:04 PM
My husband has a 1 year old Mac mini with internal speakers which do not project a high volume.  What kind of external speakers work with the Mac minis?

And what is the approximate cost.  Does anyone have compatible speakers for sale?

Thanks

Go to Futureshop, Bestbuy, or Compusmart and look for a set of 2.0 Computer Stereo Speakers - basically a set of 2 speakers.  Make sure they are for computers so that they are shielded and amplified and you want ones with a single 1/8 inch stereo jack - the same type of jack you have on headphones.  Then all you have to do is plug them into the headphones port.
